If you are intending to make a Canadian Diamond Claim, you need to be able to substantiate this claim in order to comply with the Competition Act as well as to satisfy consumer expectations that Canadian Diamond Claims are legitimate and can be authenticated.

Enclosed please find a copy of the proposed Voluntary Code of Conduct for Authenticating Canadian Diamond Claims. This code establishes a minimum standard for authenticating a claim that a diamond is of Canadian origin.
