Competition Bureau (chair)
  • National launch of Fraud Prevention Month with Canadian Council of Better Business Bureaus and Option consommateurs

Bank of Canada / Canada Post
  • Co-hosting a free educational half-day workshop for businesses and law enforcement agencies on “Fraud – Protect Your Business”, March 31, 8:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m., at the Toronto Airport Marriott. Industry speakers will address various subjects including counterfeit consumer goods, trends associated with debit card fraud, and chip card migration within the Canadian marketplace.
Bank of Canada / Partners Against Fraud Co-hosting a one-day educational event at the Nova Scotia Community College targeting fraud against youth, with tips for fraud prevention.
